ESSNS sponsored an Interfaith Celebration following Pride in Annapolis Royal, to complement the Christian service offered by the Anglican Church, on Sunday, July 7th. The waterside setting of the amphitheatre is beautiful. We sat in the wind and the shade and so we survived the wicked heat.
The celebration was warm and friendly. John spoke briefly about ESSNS.
Morrigan spoke about Hinduism and offered a brief meditation.
Nancy, from Shamballa, spoke about Shamballa and offered a meditation.
Afterwards, we chatted and Stefan Loki shared some crystals.
There were ten present.
We invited some Christian churches and the Bear River Reserve to speak. None responded. This was created very quickly and invitations were very last minute.
We intend to apply, in advance, for full inclusion in Annapolis Royal Pride, next year, to sponsor another Interfaith Event.
